How I Passed 500+ Prop Firm Challenges (And How You Can Get Funded Too)

Most traders think passing a prop firm challenge is about skill. It's not.

I've passed 500+ challenges across FTMO, FundedNext, MFF, E8 Markets, and 50+ other prop firms. After watching thousands of attempts, here's what I know: passing a challenge is about process, not talent.

Here's the system I use.

Why 95% of Traders Fail

The stat everyone quotes is real: 85-95% of traders fail their first prop firm challenge. But the reason isn't what you think.

It's not because they can't trade. It's because they treat the challenge like a trading account instead of an exam.

A prop firm challenge tests three things:

  1. Rule compliance — can you follow their specific drawdown, trading day, and profit target rules?
  2. Risk management — can you protect the account while growing it?
  3. Consistency — can you produce steady results instead of gambling?

Most traders fail #1. They don't read the rulebook carefully.

The 3-Step System I Use to Pass Challenges

Step 1: Study the Rules Before Trading

Every prop firm has different rules. Before I execute any challenge, I read the complete rulebook, note the specific drawdown type (trailing vs static), check news trading restrictions, confirm minimum trading days, and calculate position sizing for maximum safety.

Step 2: Trade the Rules, Not the Market

The goal isn't to make as much money as possible. My approach: target 0.5-1% risk per trade, aim for consistent small wins, stop after 2 consecutive losses, and use stop losses on every trade.

Step 3: Verify Everything with Myfxbook

Trust is earned through transparency. Every challenge I pass is linked to Myfxbook — a third-party trade analysis platform that records every trade automatically.

Why I Use a Flat Fee Model

Most services charge 20-40% of ongoing profits. I use a flat fee model because you keep 100% of what you earn, there are no hidden costs, and we offer free retries.

How to Start

If you're new to prop firm challenges:

  1. Get a free test — try professional execution at no cost
  2. Start with one firm — FTMO or FundedNext are most beginner-friendly
  3. Scale up — pass multiple challenges for multiple income streams
