Risk disclosure and financial disclaimer

This page sets out the risks that come with a prop firm evaluation and with hiring a service to trade one. It is short on purpose. If any of it is unclear, ask before you pay rather than afterwards.

Trading risk

Trading leveraged instruments carries a substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. You can lose the entire balance of an account, and on products where losses can exceed the deposit you can lose more than you put in. A funded account is not a guarantee of income: most funded accounts are closed at a loss, and the profit split only applies to profit that is actually withdrawn.

Nothing on this site is a prediction of future results. Figures describing past evaluations, completion rates or payouts describe what happened in specific cases and do not imply that the same will happen again.

Prop firm rule risk

Every evaluation is governed by the firm's own agreement, not by anything published here. Firms change targets, drawdown models, consistency requirements and payout conditions without notice, and they enforce their terms as written at the time of the dispute. A figure on this site is a reading of a public document on a stated date, not a warranty of the firm's current rulebook.

Firms may also decline a payout, close an account, or reverse a decision under their own terms. That risk sits between you and the firm. We cannot override a firm's decision, and nothing here should be read as a promise that a firm will pay.

Third-party trading clauses

Many firms restrict who may trade an account. Some prohibit third-party or copy trading outright, others require the account holder to place every trade personally, and others restrict account sharing without saying so plainly in the marketing. You are responsible for reading your firm's terms and for deciding whether a passing service is permitted on your account.

Where we know a firm's position, we say so before you pay. Where the wording is ambiguous, we say that too. If a firm later treats a passed evaluation as a breach of its terms, the consequence falls on the account holder — including loss of the fee paid to the firm and to us.

What this site is not

This site is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy any financial product. ElitePropX is not a broker, a fund, an investment adviser or a fiduciary, and no advisory relationship is created by reading this site or by messaging us. We do not manage money, place trades on funded accounts, or take a share of profits.

Any decision to buy an evaluation, hire a service or trade a funded account is yours. If you are unsure whether any of this is suitable for you, speak to an independent adviser who is authorised to give that advice in your jurisdiction.

Information, links and figures

Third-party rulebooks, calculators and comparison pages are provided for information. External links point at documents we do not control, and a link is not an endorsement of everything on the destination page. Figures are checked on the date shown beside them; how that date is produced, what we publish when a figure cannot be confirmed and how corrections are handled are set out in how we check firm rules.

If you find a figure here that contradicts your firm's current documentation, tell us and we will correct it. The correction process is described on the same page.

Your own circumstances

Prop firm evaluations are speculative expenditure. The fee is paid to the firm whether or not the evaluation is passed, and tax treatment of payouts varies by country and by your personal circumstances. Do not fund an evaluation with money you cannot afford to lose, and do not treat a passing service as a way to avoid learning to manage risk — the funded account is yours to trade, and that is where most of the risk actually begins.

The contractual terms of an engagement are in terms of service. What the service includes, and what happens on a retry, is in that document rather than in this one. Questions about any of it: contact us before paying.

Frequently asked

Does ElitePropX guarantee a pass?

No. Evaluations are traded under the firm's rules and can fail. What is covered is set out in terms of service: retries on rule breaches at the same firm and account size, at no additional service fee.

Is a funded account a guaranteed income?

No. A funded account is an account with a firm's capital behind it, subject to the same risk of loss as any leveraged account. Payouts depend on profit actually made and withdrawn under the firm's conditions.

Who is responsible for checking firm rules?

You are. We will tell you what we know about a firm's third-party trading clause, but the agreement is between you and the firm and its terms decide the outcome.

Are the figures on this site current?

Each one carries the date it was read from the firm's documentation. Firms revise rules without notice, so confirm any figure that matters against the plan document before paying a fee.
